media.io
media.io will not support video formats, .m3u and .aup files.
To suggest a file format, please
1. search for the file extension by typing it in the ‘enter your idea’ box
2. if there are no suggestions, try finding an open-source Linux converter for your format
3. if there are no suggestions and you could find an open-source Linux converter, post the format and the URL of the converter.
Thanks!

Allow MPEG 2 and up
I know you allow MPEG-1 Layer 3 Audio but why not MPEG-2 Layer 3 Audio or MPEG-2.5 Layer 3 Audio?

I love media.io but I would love to be able to convert to mp3 64kbit. I build a lot of mobile and web games and filesize is very important.
Thanks!" (via survey)

support files with backup and temporary file extensions (.bak, .partial, .part etc.)
Files like foo.mp3.bak and foo.mp3.part might be convertable.
